“The Lynn Recruitment Round Peg Principle

You’ve heard the saying “don’t force a square peg into a round hole”.
At Lynn Recruitment we follow the same simple “Round Peg” principle when we work with you.

The Round Peg Principle. We Listen. We ask questions to get the right fit for you.

So rather than offering a “Square peg” solution, we will help you reinforce your goals and help you to achieve your outcomes.

At Lynn Recruitment we meet all applicants before we introduce them to our Clients.  No appointment is necessary neither is a CV (although both are helpful).  Simply call into one of our offices and a friendly Consultant will meet you and take you through the registration process.

Registering for permanent work
•The registration process is painless.  It’s an opportunity to meet a consultant working in your specialist division
•They will take all your details including education and full employment history and discuss suitable roles with you at the time or speak to you about companies you would like to work for
•All you need to bring along is either your Passport or original long Birth Certificate.

Registering for temporary work
•As before registering for temporary work is easy
•The Consultant will take all your details including education and full employment history and discuss suitable roles with you at the time
•You will need to bring the following with you:-
Passport or original long Birth Certificate
Proof of your National Insurance number (the original card, an old payslip, job seekers allowance book)
Name and contact details of two referees.  One of these must be previous employer, most recent is best!
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (if applicable)

Temping with Lynn Recruitment
It’s simple!  Whether you use it as an opportunity to get a permanent job or you use temping because it suits your current situation.  Lynn Recruitment is the place to register for this type of work.    Lynn Recruitment place 100's of temps per week ranging from call centre advisors to secretaries and drivers to whatever our Clients require.  The beauty of temporary work is if a placement doesn't suit you, you can move on to another role that does.  Flexibility with this type of work means you can experience different workplaces and environments.  Temporary workers are paid weekly directly into their bank accounts and accumulate holiday pay, up to 24 days in the year (Jan-Dec).

Here’s what some of our candidates have to say:-

Carmel,
I just wanted to put this in writing.
Thanks so much for all your efforts in finding me work. Until I joined Lynn Recruitment I was disheartened with recruitment agencies but you have been such a support, especially in these difficult economic times and have always come up trumps for me.
I will thoroughly recommend you to anyone I know who may be looking for work.
Thanks again

“After registering with multiple recruitment agencies, it was Lynn Recruitment who studied my CV, understood my expectations and found me the perfect job to further my career.... not just once but twice!”

Melanie Regan, Candidate

“From my initial contact with Lynn Recruitment I found them to be very friendly and approachable.  They conducted my initial interview in a very open manner that instantly put me at ease.  I found Lynn Recruitment to be very professional and always gave me informative facts on the prospective employer, if I had any queries at all it was never too much trouble to find out the answer!

On a personal level I found Lynn Recruitment to be invaluable in making my decision to change employment.  I had concerns over a specific job offer and Audrey coached me through all aspects of this which enabled me to come to a confident decision. Through Audrey and Lynn Recruitment I was successful in securing a position with a growing company who conduct business on a multi-national basis and have no doubt my employment with the company will be a long and happy one!  I have no hesitation in recommending Lynn Recruitment to anyone whether they are looking for a candidate or are themselves seeking new employment.”

"I temped with Lynn Recruitment for nearly one year.  I have found them to be helpful and informative.  Kevin always gave me sufficent information to enable me to prepare adequately for interviews.  On a personal level my pay was always correct and any queries were dealt with quickly and efficently.  I have mostly dealt with Kevin and found him to be very professional."

Andrea McCloskey, Candidate

"I registered with Joe in Lynn Recruitment several weeks ago and on the same day I registered he mentioned to me that there was a job had just come in based in the small town where I lived. I said the hours and money were too little, but other than that it would have been perfect for me. Within a couple of days Joe contacted me to say he'd spoken to the employer about me and that I may be able to negogiate more hours and money. Joe arranged an interview for me 2 days after that and I got the job. Had I not gotten the job, Joe had mentioned an alternative position that I could maybe apply for.

I found Joe very pleasant, professional, informative and efficient and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he found me a job. I usually don't hold much hope in recruitment agencies, but thanks to Joe, I'd definitely return to Lynn Recruitment in Portadown."

"This is for all those people who are job hunting, students or those who can't face Monday morning because they hate their job or those who want a career change.  I was in that position too, I hated my boring job and eventually admitted defeat.  I was unemployed for 6 weeks and had registered with no less than four agencies both in my area as well as Lisburn.  Not one interview.  I was getting pretty desperate as I had a big holiday booked for June.  Late one Friday afternoon I spotted a vacancy on jobcentreonline.com and the contact was Lynn Recruitment.  I e-mailed my details to them and went to fill in the forms on the following Monday.  I was always very dubious about agency working and had no experience of them but I found Joe and Kevin to be very professional.  They answered any queries ref pay, holiday entitlement ect.  Whilst there, Joe asked if I would be interested in going for an interview the next day which I agreed.  Guess who got the job!!!  Joe phoned me and I don't know who was the most pleased.

That was three months ago.  I love the place I am working and have went on to achieve more qualifications in IT.  I am now applying for a position which is working with children who have been in care.  Lynn recruitment, namely Joe and Kevin, put me on a path to a new career I was oblivious to, so here is a big thanks to all at the Portadown branch thanks for everything guys."
