| Our Ballymena client are currently recruiting for a Bar/Hospitality Manager. The successful candidate will have: Knowledge of the drinks trade Experience managing a team Experience of promoting venues and attracting third party guests Familiarity with IT bar software Carry out all ordering of stock items ensuring stock levels are in line with business levels using purchase ordering system Carry out regular price checks with suppliers to minimise costs Responsibility for all areas of bar and stock security Develop new sales and marketing opportunities for the bar which will be subject to approval of the Director of Finance Have awareness of market trends/competitors and react accordingly Assist the various sporting sections on the Club with any social events they plan to have in terms of set up, staffing and promotion Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations and ensure safe working environment for all guests and employees Keep staff/work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident or loss or damage to management and observe all requirements under current health and safety regulations Flexibility is required in relation to working hours, particularly on occasions when the Club have functions, a number of which will have late licences Responsible for the recruitment and management of casual bar staff **We are acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency** |
