Description

The role  of Operations Manager is an important role , duties and responsibilities include:
Responsibility for supervising the team of mobile technicians and helpdesk /operators and administrators
Responsiblity for issuing jobs in relation to the PPM schedule
Responsibility for ensuring a high standard proactive service including completion of routine
Maintenance in line with the PPM schedule
Responsibility for ensuring a quick response time to reactive problems communicated via the
Client’s authorised representative or the helpdesk
Managing sub-contractors for on site maintenance, issue and control of health and safety documentation
Reviewing the relevant worksheets and paperwork submitted by technicians in relation to jobs to ensure accuracy before signing them ofF
Liaising with clients store managers for planned and minor works jobs
Submission of costs for works to be carried out on clients property and management through to completion of invoices and back up to client when required
Approving payroll, purchase order requests and invoices
Liaising with and deputising for the Contract Manager in their absence Person Specification


Essential Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:
Technical background with a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience
Knowledge of 17th edition wiring regulations
Previous supervisory experience of technical and administration staff
Good computer literacy skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to address difficult issues with energy and diplomacy.
Proven ability to manage a wide variety of tasks with the ability to prioritise and develop new opportunities and solutions.
Able to develop effective working relations with colleagues and client. 

Full, clean driving licence
Measured and consistent approach to all functions and responsibilities.
Effective at team building and being able to work well within a team.
Ability to be flexible as and when required, whether it be a work task or an approach to people. 
Commitment to job in hand, colleagues and company.
Extremely customer focused in all dealings with the client.
