| Responsibilities: Networking – A certified engineer in Cisco, Microsoft etc to set up local area networks and designing Ethernet networks for control equipment both wired and wireless. Component based programming (C++ for example) in ad-hoc brand languages – Training will be given for each brand language Knowledge of Flash, HTML and Photoshop would be an advantage Must have knowledge of integrating web based music programs relating to programming iPods i.e. spotify; rhapsodyUtilising efficient programming to control various components commonly used in the AV industry. Programming of control processors as per customer requirement Involved in the installation of new A/V projects in the commercial sector Interface with the customer to understand and interpret the user requirements for the Control System Work within the IT team in developing best practices Be aware and interested in new technology developments within the industry Research and review new techniques and interaction with new products Requirements: Certified in multilayer networking.. Microsoft, Cisco etc Minimum A-Level Computer Studies Strong interest in IT and Audio Visual industry Ability to write and understand programming techniques Understanding of AV components and their interaction on a daily basis Strong analytical and logical skills in problem solving The ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision |
